About

Engineering at the edge of scale.

I'm Ayush — a Software Engineer who loves turning messy, legacy codebases into crisp, high-performance systems.

At Aditya Birla's Birla Pivot, I architect unified product APIs, build Kafka-powered real-time pipelines, and optimize algorithms from O(n²) to O(n). My work has eliminated 80% code duplication, increased operational margins by 18%, and reduced data inconsistency by 95%.

Before that, I engineered a travel-tech platform serving 50+ agencies with 99.9% uptime and shipped a full itinerary engine 20× faster than its predecessor.

When I'm off the clock, I'm grinding LeetCode, building side projects like NimBuild (construction SaaS) and Glimpse (video conferencing), or exploring distributed systems.

Experience

Where I've built.

Birla Pivot, Aditya Birla Group

Software Engineer · Jun 2024 - Present · Bangalore, India

  • Architected unified Product API serving 3 e-commerce channels with Kafka event streaming — eliminated 80% code duplication and cut data inconsistency by 95%.
  • Led a refactor removing 5,000+ lines across 111 files; replaced O(n²) recursive algorithms with optimized O(n) iterative solutions featuring cycle detection & pessimistic locking.
  • Built an intelligent consignment consolidation system for multi-warehouse logistics — raised operational margin by 18% and reduced empty truck runs by 35%.
  • Shipped a scalable ETL pipeline processing 50,000+ SKUs with row-level validation — reduced manual data entry by 90%.

Travaura LLP

Full Stack Developer · Nov 2023 - May 2024 · New Delhi

  • Engineered itinerary generation engine — slashed processing from 20 min → 60 sec (95% faster) via intelligent caching & parallel processing; serving 100+ daily itineraries.
  • Architected multi-tenant MongoDB with tenant isolation for 50+ agencies; deployed on Azure with AWS S3/Cloudinary CDN — 99.9% uptime.
  • Built admin dashboard with CSV parsing (10k+ rows), bulk ops & real-time validation — cut content management time by 70%.
Interactive Highlights

Scroll through the impact.

A sticky storytelling view of engineering outcomes across API architecture, refactoring, and logistics optimization.
